Description:

The OPC Server for Siemens TI Series 505 PLC's is an OPC 2.0 compliant server that enables data interchange between the DD-Connect RTXHDB OPC Client and TI5 PLC's. The OPC Server provides read access to most register types, and supports extended addressing for PLC's with V registers greater than 65535. Connecting to the PLC's is done through the CTI 2572 Ethernet card. When an OPC client requests a connection to a specific Item ID the server automatically validates, configures and optimizes the request with existing data request packets. Please note that the DD-Connect RTXHDB OPC Client only uses the read access function to store data on the RTXHDB historical database and does not use the write access function. The OPC server is self-optimizing and auto-configuring to provide easy, efficient, and reliable data transfer.
