OPC Historical Database Tutorials: The OPC Data Access Client program is used to collect data from OPC Data Access Servers. The collected data is then stored in a Historical Database. Collection is accomplished by defining collection lists and starting them. A collection list is a group of tags with the following commonality, all the tags in a list are collected from the same server, are collected at the same frequency, and their values stored in the same database. The OPC HDA Server interface provides stored historical data to OPC HDA Clients using the OPC HDA (Historical Data Access) 1.0 specification.
The Quick Report program is designed to provide a quick and simple way of reporting data from the Historical Databases.
